What Dermal Fillers involves
Dermal fillers restore volume and shape where the face has lost it or never had it: lips, the folds from nose to mouth, flat cheeks, a receding chin, the hollow under the eyes, or the line of the jaw. The fillers used in Kuşadası are hyaluronic acid gels — a substance the body already contains — from established manufacturers, placed by a doctor with a needle or a blunt cannula. They soften lines that are present at rest and rebuild contours, which is what botulinum toxin cannot do.
One millilitre is the standard unit and it goes further than most people expect in the right place: full correction of the lips or the chin, a meaningful improvement of the nasolabial folds, a subtle lift of one cheek pair. Larger reshaping — full cheeks plus jawline, for example — needs more volume and is priced per additional millilitre. The doctor tells you honestly what 1 ml will and will not achieve for the area you have in mind.
What fillers do not do: they do not lift sagging skin (surgery does), they do not treat dynamic lines caused by muscle movement (toxin does), and they are not permanent — hyaluronic acid is gradually absorbed over 6–18 months. Their great advantage is that they are reversible: if a result is uneven or unwanted, an enzyme (hyaluronidase) dissolves the filler within a day.

Product selection

Needle or cannula
A fine needle gives precision for lips and small lines. A blunt cannula, inserted through a single entry point, glides beneath the skin and is used for cheeks, tear troughs and jawline, where it reduces bruising and the risk of injecting into a blood vessel.
Vascular safety
The most important safety measure with fillers is avoiding injection into an artery, which can block blood supply to skin or, rarely, the eye. Doctors here follow standard precautions: knowledge of the danger zones, slow low-pressure injection of small amounts, aspiration before injecting where a needle is used, cannulas in high-risk areas, and hyaluronidase available in the room to dissolve filler immediately if a vessel is affected.
Layering and conservative dosing
Filler is placed in small amounts and assessed as it goes; a second visit is preferable to over-filling. The aim is that people notice you look well, not that you have had filler.
Reversibility
Hyaluronidase dissolves hyaluronic acid filler within a day if a result is uneven, over-done or complicated. This is why hyaluronic acid rather than permanent fillers is used.
What happens on surgery day

Recovery timeline

Risks and how they are managed
Every operation carries risk. These are the ones that matter for this procedure, and what is done to reduce, spot or treat each.
Swelling, bruising, tenderness
Expected for a few days, more in the lips; cold compresses, avoiding blood thinners and alcohol beforehand.
Lumps or unevenness
Gentle moulding on the day, massage as instructed; persistent lumps are softened or dissolved with hyaluronidase.
Vascular occlusion
Rare but serious: blanching, pain or mottling of the skin after injection. Prevented by technique (see above) and treated immediately with hyaluronidase, which the doctor has in the room. Vision symptoms are an emergency.
Infection or cold-sore reactivation
Clean technique; antiviral cover for patients with a history of cold sores when treating the lips.
Delayed swelling or nodules
Uncommon; can follow illness or vaccination months later; treated with medication or hyaluronidase.
Tyndall effect (bluish tint) under thin skin
Avoided by placing filler deep enough, especially in the tear trough; dissolvable if it occurs.
Migration
More likely with over-filling, particularly in the lips; conservative dosing and correct placement.
