What this site is for

The treatment pages are written so that you can arrive at a consultation knowing what the operation involves, who it suits, what it cannot do and what it costs. That is a genuinely useful thing to read beforehand. It is not a substitute for being examined.

Whether a treatment is right for you depends on findings nobody can get from a web page: your examination, your imaging, your medical history and your medication. A surgeon may read the same page you did and tell you that a different operation, or none, is the right answer.

What we deliberately do not claim

  • No success rates, satisfaction percentages or outcome guarantees for any treatment. Turkish health advertising rules prohibit them and they would be unverifiable in any case.
  • No promise that a result is permanent. Implants are devices with a service life, lifts are reversed by ageing, and fat and teeth both respond to what you do afterwards.
  • No comparisons claiming we or our partners are the best, the most experienced or award-winning.
  • No numbers we cannot source. Where a figure comes from published data we say whose, and where a price range is ours it comes from one place in our own system rather than being written into the prose.
  • No before-and-after photographs other than real, consented cases from the practice that performed them, labelled as such.

When to see a doctor where you live

Straight away if you have chest pain, breathlessness, a swollen or painful calf, heavy bleeding, a fever with a wound, or sudden severe pain after any procedure. Travelling is not the answer to any of those; your nearest emergency department is.

Before you book, if you take anticoagulants, have diabetes, heart or lung disease, a bleeding disorder, a history of clots, or are pregnant or breastfeeding. These do not necessarily rule treatment out, but they change the plan and the surgeon has to know.

Before you book anything cosmetic, if the distress about how you look is out of proportion to what is there. A good surgeon will decline in that situation and so will we, and that is care rather than refusal.

Aftercare and emergencies abroad

We arrange remote follow-up and we stay reachable after you are home. What we cannot do is examine you from Kuşadası. If something is wrong, you are seen locally first and we work with your own clinician and the treating practice from there.

This is a real limitation of treatment abroad and it belongs in the decision rather than in the small print. Ask any provider — including us — exactly who you call, in what language, at 3am on day ten, and get the answer in writing before you book.
